Hi, I’m Sharon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping others heal, grow, and thrive—especially adolescents and young adults navigating life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and have had the privilege of working in schools, colleges, non-profits, and faith-based communities. These experiences have allowed me to walk alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds as they process trauma, explore their identity, and build meaningful coping strategies. I believe that healing starts with feeling seen and heard. My approach is relational, compassionate, and rooted in each client’s values and strengths. Whether we’re working through anxiety, grief, trauma, or just trying to make sense of life, I aim to create a safe and judgment-free space where growth can take place. Outside of the therapy room, I’m a big fan of fitness and enjoy working out 4–7 days a week—it helps me clear my mind and recharge. I also love to travel and try new restaurants. I’m a proud aunt, and I make regular trips to Dallas to spend time with my niece and nephew, who keep me on my toes in the best way. My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed by their emotions, unsure of how to express themselves, or disconnected from the people around them—especially adolescents navigating the pressures of growing up. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or simply trying to figure out who they are and where they belong. What they want most is to feel seen, heard, and understood. They’re looking for guidance, support, and practical tools to manage the challenges life throws at them. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, particularly those facing emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and rooted in empathy. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, build healthy coping skills, and develop a stronger sense of self. I also support parents who may be struggling to understand or connect with their child, helping bridge that gap with compassion and clarity. What I offer is not a quick fix, but a process—one where we collaborate to uncover what’s getting in the way and work toward lasting change. Healing looks different for everyone, but with the right support, I believe anyone can experience growth, hope, and transformation. If you’re ready to begin your healing journey or support your child through theirs, I invite you to take that first step. You don’t have to do it alone.
