University of La Verne, Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy
As a young child, I enjoyed two things: Sports and Gaming. Little did I know the constructs of my hobbies would become a part of who I am professionally. I have concluded that sports offer the platform for unique individuals from all different backgrounds to come together to combine strengths and weaknesses for a common goal and gaming provides a multitude of opportunities for people to connect, struggle and succeed together while strengthening individual and collective talents for a common goal. As a mental health therapist, I am humbled and gracious for the opportunities to come together with unique individuals, couples, and families of all ages and backgrounds who have a story to tell-- whether it is of struggle, success, connection, or wanting to improve individual talents towards goals in life. I am blessed to have worked in diverse clinical settings ranging from schools, community mental health, and private practice across all age groups and modalities. I am a strong believer in the power of play and have integrated digital tools as interventions for play therapy for individuals, families, and couples.
