Hi there! My name is Lauren, and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I grew up in Illinois before moving to sunny California, where I’ve lived for over 15 years. I’ve held previous roles as a School Counselor, ESL Teacher, and an Adoption/Foster Care Family Specialist where I gained a wealth of experience in supporting youth and families from diverse backgrounds and communities. I specialize in providing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care for clients impacted by anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and body image issues, cultural challenges, relational issues, trauma, and more. My ultimate goal in therapy is to empower my clients to overcome challenges, embrace their strengths, and lead a fulfilling life aligned with their deepest values and aspirations. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my hubby and two fur-babies, practicing yoga, listening to music, hiking, camping, and traveling!
