I am a graduate of Loyola’s School of social work in Chicago. I hold a MSW in Schools and Child and Family. I also have a B.S in Clinical Psychology from Saint Xavier University. During my work history as a therapist, school social worker and as a case manager I have had the opportunity to enhance my therapeutic skills, community resource, and crisis intervention skills. Over the years I have gained a passion for working with individuals dealing with different diagnoses, physical disabilities and those on the spectrum. Further, I learned to meet individuals where they are in life and give them the chance to make personal growth at their own speed. I have learned the importance of being a listening ear as well as a person people can grow to trust. I believe bridging the communication gaps between kids, families and teachers really need to be advocated for if the goal is for all students to be successful, heard and seen.
