Hello! I’m thrilled to share a bit about myself and how I've come to be so passionate about the intersection of technology and mental health. Born and raised in the wonderful city of Chicago, I've always been drawn to vibrant communities and diverse experiences. This love for vibrant life extends to my hobbies as well—I'm an avid traveler, constantly seeking new landscapes and cultures. Whether it’s the bustling streets of a foreign city or the tranquil scenery of a secluded beach, each journey offers a fresh perspective and a chance to recharge. Music plays a huge part in my life; there's nothing quite like the thrill of live concerts. The energy of the crowd and the connection to the artists performing is electrifying. It’s in these moments, surrounded by hundreds of other fans, that I truly appreciate our shared human experiences. At home, my relaxation comes from spending time with my adorable dog, Leia. She’s been my steadfast companion through thick and thin, always ready to offer comfort with a wag of her tail. My career began in pediatrics, a field I was drawn to because of my desire to help and connect with people from the earliest stages of their lives. Working with children has taught me the importance of nurturing mental well-being alongside physical health—an understanding that has been a guiding principle in my career. The opportunity to blend working with adolescents with my fascination for technology came as a natural next step. I am excited about the potential of digital tools and tech innovations to transform mental health care. My goal is to make mental health resources more accessible and engaging, especially for the younger populations with whom I’ve worked extensively. Connecting with people, understanding their stories, and finding ways to improve their lives has always been at the core of what I do. Each person's mental health journey is unique, and technology provides us with new ways to tailor approaches to individual needs. It’s a powerful frontier, ripe with opportunities to make significant impacts in ways we are just beginning to explore. As I continue on this path, I am eager to leverage my background in pediatrics and my passion for tech-driven solutions to enhance mental health care. By bridging these worlds, I hope to inspire and facilitate more meaningful conversations around mental health, especially among children and adolescents who are just beginning to navigate their own paths. In every aspect of my life, from attending the next concert to planning my next travel adventure, or simply enjoying a quiet walk with Leia, I carry with me the same mission: to connect, understand, and improve lives. Thanks for taking the time to get to know a bit about me. I’m excited for what lies ahead and am committed to making a difference in the world of mental health.
