Born and raised in South Central L.A., I am a true native to the core and couldnā€™t imagine my foundation beginning anywhere else. I am an eyewitness to adversity from low socioeconomic status, parental incarceration, and feeling left out amongst peers but yet and still I prevail. So much that I have been blessed with the gift of compassion, empathy, nurturing, and empowerment. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and a mother to a princess. I am gracious of the roles I play personally & professionally and am an advocate for whomever I represent. I am firm believer that human behavior is my calling and I aim to lean upon my experiences personally and professionally to heal hearts. As a Trauma-Informed therapist, I believe Transitional Age Folx deserve support. I support clients who are dealing with past trauma or other disheartening experiences and want to rebuild confidence. I always start from a brave look at their unique strengths to develop and implement coping strategies that actually work. My role during the therapeutic process is to be a non-directive affirming cheer-leader, with valuable awareness of our innate ability to thrive. I show up for all sessions non-judgmental, empathic, and genuine and I welcome first-time therapy seekers!
