Danielle Brinson
Brandman University, Master's in Social Work
Hello my name is Danielle Brinson, welcome. I first decided to become a clinician because I wanted to help people feel hope again and that has continued to be my goal and passion throughout the past 10 years. Fun fact about me is I am an animal lover, the real kind. I foster and transport rescue pups all over the West Coast. I specialize in working with adults and teens struggling with substance use, relationship issues, anxiety, psychotic disorders, depression, mood disorders, childhood abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, and other life transitions. I utilize a broad range of therapeutic approaches to best fit your needs and goals, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My experience includes 8 years as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, a Crisis Worker, and Clinical Social Worker for the same county organization. I have multiple years working with individuals suffering with severe mental health issues as well as substance use issues. I gained my education through Brandman University for both my Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work.
