I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, a beautiful island in the Caribbean. My first language is Spanish, and my second is English, making me bilingual. I enjoy going to the movies, dancing, strolling, and taking walks. I chose to become a clinical social worker because I understand the profound impact that our surroundings have on our emotional and mental well-being. Helping people improve their mental health brings me immense satisfaction because I am supporting them in feeling better and managing their emotions. Being able to empathize with others and use my personal experiences to help them build resilience and find the tools to overcome difficult times brings me both joy and passion for my work as a mental health therapist. Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California with four years of experience in providing both individual and group counseling. My passion lies in addressing various mental health topics to support and guide those in need. I am known for my empathetic and compassionate nature, always striving to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My approach is client-centered, and I believe in the power of active listening and collaborative problem-solving. I am dedicated to helping individuals feel better emotionally, aiming to improve their overall quality of life. My ideal client is someone who is struggling with emotional or mental health challenges and is seeking support to improve their quality of life. They might be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related disorders. These challenges often affect their day-to-day functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. I am here to support you through life's challenges, providing the tools and techniques needed to foster resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth. Let's work together to achieve your mental health goals and enhance your well-being. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
