Hello! I am Ashley! I am a License Clinical Social Worker, who graduated Erikson Institute with an emphasis on early childhood development. I have spent most of my career working in non for profit. Within this work I have had the opportunity to work with children from all different backgrounds! When my son was diagnoses with a severe ADHD, I spent a lot of time navigate the school system and learning how to best work with educators to support him and his learning. Through this I grew a deep desire to further this understand and passion and moved to support children in the private field. I have spent the last 4 years supporting children and families, along side their schools and educators, to work towards their success. Social work is something I have always been interested in, especially working with children and families. Helping people overcome obstacles and difficulties and making the most of themselves is a very rewarding yet challenging career. I have had the chance to meet with a variety of different individuals with different issues, from attention difficulties to family relationships. As I social worker, I enjoy the ability to work alongside other systems, like schools, and effectively communicate solutions to best support children and families. I have been committed to working with children and families with a wide range of struggles and have always maintained a non-judgmental and supportive approach.
