Hello! I’m Anamaria, and I am a first-generation American and native Californian. Since 2012 I have worked with children in various non-clinical roles: as a CASA, an education advocate for students with IEPs, and tutoring program coordinator. In 2016, I transitioned to clinical work, including serving as a crisis clinician, community mental health provider, and school-based therapist. In my free time, I enjoy spending free time running, reading, and painting. I take a compassionate and creative approach, blending CBT, DBT, play therapy, and art therapy with mindfulness and meditation to help kids and teens who may be struggling.
