Hola! I'm an Associate Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, Monterey Bay. I am also Mexican American and can speak Spanish fluently. I have 5 years of experience providing mental health services to K-12 students. In the school setting, I have worked with students of all ages with diverse cultures, social economic backgrounds, and the LGBTQ+ community. My experience includes working with students with various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, substance abuse, and grief counseling. Some of the hobbies that I enjoy are singing, dancing, and running. One fun fact is that I like running by my hometown’s agriculture fields as I stare at the beautiful mountains and sun.
