My name is Ana Gabriela Ortiz (“Gaby) and I am an LPC located in Brownsville, Texas! I have 10 years experience working with children and teens (ages 6-17) in both educational and residential shelter settings. During my spare time, I like to collect crystals, spend time with my cat “Pru”! As a deeply spiritual person, I approach any and all belief systems with great curiosity and enthusiasm. My hope is that you too, can be a part of something that helps you connect with yourself and others. My best work is done with children and teens (ages 12-17), who may be experiencing anxiety or depression relating to new life changes or challenging circumstances. I love incorporating the arts ( movies, music, art, writing) into my counseling sessions, I utilize cognitive behavioral and solution focused treatment modalities which will help you change those pesky negative thoughts and build the confidence to achieve your goals!
