Hi! My name is Amber Jackson, LPC and I am a mental health therapist for adolescents and adults. I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Iowa State University and my master’s degree in counseling psychology from The Chicago School. I have 5 years of experience servicing youth both in person and virtually. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, binge watching tv shows, and doing Pilates. Amber believes that with the right guidance and realization of one’s own potential, that anyone can develop and utilize coping skills to overcome obstacles placed before them. By taking a collaborative approach to the therapeutic alliance, Amber works with her clients on their journey to efficient living. By providing an open and judgement free space, the client is able to explore who they are and their struggles, and reach self-actualization with Amber providing empathy along the way. The overall goal is to help adolescents become healthy functioning individuals and to help families to live harmonious lives together.
