I have a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and a Master's in Community Counseling. I have worked with adolescents and adults to explore their problems and resolve issues that have plagued them for some time. It is such rewarding work. I love movies, as I view them to analyze characters and what makes them tick. I mean, think about it Voldemort had abandonment issues. Imagine if he could have gotten help to resolve his issues, things would have turned out differently. My career has allowed me the opportunity to hear a client's inner thoughts. They trust me to help them achieve a better quality of life. A client once told me he was appreciative he could "tell my story" without someone telling him how he should feel and what he should do. My job is to listen to the client's stories and help them realize how they can rewrite the story to make their lives the way they want them to be.
