CSULB, Master's in Social Work

I believe that life's experiences shape us into who we are. The challenges and struggles we face build our strength, endurance, character, and, most importantly, our resilience. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe, trusting environment where you can grow and thrive on your unique journey. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults. My expertise lies in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and behavioral challenges. By using a variety of therapeutic approachesā€”Strength-based, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a Humanistic Approachā€”I ensure that each treatment plan is tailored to meet your specific needs, never a one-size-fits-all solution. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Science in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. My diverse experience spans inpatient, crisis, outpatient settings, school districts, and short-term residential treatment programs. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker, I also oversee and supervise Social Work Interns, contributing to the development of future professionals in the field. When I'm not working, I enjoy tending to my garden, spending quality time with my family, and watching thriller movies. It would be my pleasure to support you on your journey towards growth and resilience. Let's work together to unlock your full potential.
