Hello, My name is Stephanie Lemus. I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Master in Social Work. I have 2 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and adults at Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. I have provided clinical therapy in residential and outpatient settings treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My goal for early treatment is to establish a safe space focused on trust , honestly, sense of humor (when appropriate), and most importantly warmth and kindness to develop a comfortable experience for my clients. I specialize in work with young adults and adults to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and life transitions. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivation Interviewing and Solution Focus Therapy to help clients overcome life obstacles. I love to provide grounding techniques and explore different self-care actives that may benefit the client. I want my clients to be able to live fulfilling lives in whatever form that looks like for them. Together as a team we can work together on the path of healing. Hobbies / Fun Fact I love to color or anything that has to do with arts and craft. Something that I am well known for in my family is if something breaks they say, “Oh Stephanie can fix it”.
