I have worked in mental health for over 15 years. I completed my Master's degree after perceiving a great need for mental health service in the community. I was born in Oakland, CA, but spend a significant amount of time in Mexico with my grandparents as a young child. I am fluent in Spanish, and have worked with various cultures throughout my career. I enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoor experience. I also have three teenage daughters and recently welcomed a son. I have experienced trauma in my young life; including abandonment from a father, which allows me to process my client's experiences from a personal and understanding standpoint.
