I grew up in Puerto Rico and received my degrees in special education, clinical psychology, and mental health counseling in both Spain and the United States. I have over 15 years of experience working in health and clinical psychology settings; with vast experience treating addiction, grief, life transitions, sexual abuse, domestic violence, immigration issues, and childhood complex trauma. I am passionate about developing a standardized clinical treatment modality for unaccompanied children and refugees, spiritually integrated psychotherapy, chronic illness management and providing language access to disparate populations. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, cinema, literature (poetry as an absolute favorite), writing, singing, dancing, music trivia and engaging in philosophical monologues with my cat Mina.
