Hi, I’m Melissa Bell, lover of God’s peaceful beauty, family, connections, sports and all things Carolina blue! I attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, played Varsity Softball, and earned a degree in Health and Physical Education. My early teaching years revealed the importance of mental health in youth, inspiring me to earn my Master’s in Counseling from NC State University. Thirty years later, from my experience as a School Counselor, a licensed therapist, and coach, I have gained many insights into the resilience of the human spirit, the power of empathy in fostering growth, and the transformative potential of mentorship in shaping the lives of adolescents and young adults. I am deeply honored and passionate about the opportunity to encourage, sit with, and support young people as they navigate and overcome their life challenges. When I'm not in the office, I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends. In my free time, I enjoy beach and mountain trips, playing pickleball and tennis, listening to audiobooks on health, nutrition, faith and fitness, taking long walks with my Golden Retriever, Bentley, exploring new coffee shops, and gardening.
