Hi there! I'm Maritrini Rodriguez, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel heard and supported. I’ve always been a good listener, and I think that’s one of the things that led me to pursue a career in mental health. Whether it's offering advice to friends or just being a shoulder to lean on, I find deep satisfaction in helping others work through tough times. When I’m not working on mental health advocacy, I love playing with my dogs, reading, Paying sports, or practicing Yoga. I find that these activities help me recharge and stay grounded, which is so important in this line of work. Fun fact: I ran 5k without any prior experience! It taught me that sometimes taking a leap of faith can lead to amazing growth. When imagining my ideal client, I think about someone who is struggling with a combination of stress, anxiety, and self-doubt—someone who feels overwhelmed by life’s demands and is unsure how to regain balance or confidence. They may be facing a life transition or dealing with burnout, which has left them feeling emotionally drained and disconnected from their sense of purpose. They will learn practical tools to manage stress, such as mindfulness exercises, grounding techniques, and strategies for relaxation. Get a sense of clarity about who they are, what they want, and how to navigate the challenges they’re facing. They may feel “stuck” and need help creating a roadmap for their life. They will receive emotional support and someone who understands what they’re going through—someone who can empathize and help them feel safe as they explore their thoughts and feelings. My specialty lies in helping individuals like you develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so that you can make empowered choices.
