I aim to help you regain autonomy and control after situations where autonomy and control have not been present. This sensation of powerlessness is often present in grief, trauma, systemic barriers, societal shortcomings, abuse, anxiety, and more. Empowerment is possible for every human being, and I am passionate about sharing in the journey of reclaiming one's self. Outside of the therapy setting, I am an avid participant in dance and performing arts. I love to read, drink sweet iced coffees, rewatch old comfort shows, and do the daily Wordle! Do you feel lost in why you feel the way you do? Perhaps you have a good understanding of the "why", but you can't quite figure out what to do about it! Our minds and our bodies share a deep connection. Through a combination of practices such as EMDR, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and compassion-focused therapy, we can engage in processing in our brains and in our bodies for a more holistic path towards healing.I am passionate about working with clients who are struggling with the effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, and school- and performance-related stress.
