Hi, welcome to my profile. My background is in special education, school-based therapy, hospitals, and private DBT clinics. My hobbies include music, traveling, the beach, and hiking. One fun fact about me is that I love the world of sci-fi/fantasy and often use this in sessions. Because of my past work experience, I combine skills that work to improve mental health with things people enjoy. I’m passionate about working with children, teens, and their families to help them find relief from a variety of issues, such as, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, trauma, grief, self-harm, life transitions, school issues, family conflicts, career planning. My style is non-judgmental, open, and sincere. We’d use a mix of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic skills.
