I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, a beautiful island in the Caribbean. My first language is Spanish, and my second is English, making me bilingual. I enjoy going to the movies, dancing, strolling, and taking walks. I chose to become a clinical social worker because I understand the profound impact that our surroundings have on our emotional and mental well-being. Helping people improve their mental health brings me immense satisfaction because I am supporting them in feeling better and managing their emotions. Being able to empathize with others and use my personal experiences to help them build resilience and find the tools to overcome difficult times brings me both joy and passion for my work as a mental health therapist.
