Hi! My name is Andrea and I am glad you are here, taking the first steps in your mental health journey. I am currently a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 8 years of experience in the mental health field mostly working in Southern California. My passion for helping others heal through therapy came from my own experiences growing up in communities where mental health resources were limited. My drive for helping children, teens and families comes from my personal mission to break stigma on getting mental health support and early intervention. We all go to the doctors to take care of our physical health, we should be able to feel comfortable to go to therapist to take care of our emotional and mental health. Through my work in mental health I have developed strong connections to mindfulness based practices, and connecting with nature which I have found to be healing. I like to hike, and spend time with my dogs when I am on not helping others. I also love to collect mini objects to make my office lively and unique. I hope to connect with you and support you in this journey.
