During my undergraduate studies at California State University Fresno, I discovered a deep-seated passion for aiding individuals in managing their mental health and emotions. Earning my bachelor's degree strengthened my resolve to advocate for children whose voices are often overlooked. Growing up, I faced challenges in forming friendships and often wished for a therapist with whom I could share my feelings. Now, I find immense joy in supporting others who may feel as I did in my youth. My coping strategies are straightforward yet effective, such as walking my dog or spending quality time with my family. I also embrace more lighthearted approaches, like engaging in silly conversations with my dog or hosting family karaoke nights. Stepping out of my comfort zone is a crucial part of my personal growth, as it builds my confidence and reminds me that discomfort signifies development.
